The United Arab Emirates is the first country in the world to set up a Ministry of Artificial Intelligence. I was the first journalist to interview the Minister of Artificial Intelligence in 2018 since his appointment.
My most notable stories in the field of artificial intelligence (AI), however, was my interview with the world’s first humanoid citizen, Sophia. She spoke about her desire of wanting a family and the story went viral. It was picked up by media outlets worldwide, some which include BBC, Fox News, Newsweek, Daily Mail, The NY Post, Huffington Post and on The Late Late Show with James Corden.
The AI industry is growing rapidly worldwide, especially in Dubai.
