I covered the plight of the Syrian community in the UAE from 2014 to 2017, specifically the hardships Syrian children faced in the country’s education sector. So far, my reporting has helped 7 children secure free spots at a Dubai school until graduation and has inspired charity schools to expand in order to accommodate more students.
